Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant will own accounting, analysis and reporting for multiple consolidated investment structures and support new initiatives and ad‑hoc requests within a fast‑growing, small‑office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in accounting and reporting for various investment funds, ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.
• Maintain the general ledger, post automated and manual entries, and prepare supporting schedules.
• Provide timely fund and business reporting, analysis, and support for financial statement preparation.
• Work with independent auditors and implement new accounting pronouncements.
• Drive operational efficiencies, controllership, and process automation across the Fund Accounting Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Relevant experience in private‑equity, leveraged finance, hedge fund or similar, preferably with public‑accounting background.
• Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to thrive on a steep learning curve.
• Passion for a collaborative, hybrid work culture and ability to contribute to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Workday Accounting Software.
• Familiarity with Wall Street Office or similar fund‑accounting packages.
