Assistant Vice President – Credit Monitoring

About the role

The Assistant Vice President will support the Credit Monitoring Team by providing day‑to‑day valuation and analysis of debt and equity investments. This position works closely with vertical leads and independent valuation firms to ensure accurate and timely investment assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent valuations using comparable company data, equity waterfalls, cash‑flow modeling and debt pricing.
• Analyze financial statements, monitor portfolio performance, and track pending transactions and credit agreement amendments.
• Prepare high‑quality written valuation reports and support analysts with complex model reviews.
• Coordinate with deal professionals to gather borrower information and compile documentation for external valuation firms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in valuation services, private equity, leveraged finance, venture capital or investment banking.
• Strong quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
