Assistant Front Desk Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Desk Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front‑desk operations at Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort. This evening‑shift position ensures a Manager On‑Duty is present to maintain high‑quality guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing front‑office staff and daily operations during the evening shift.
• Handle cash transactions, reconcile receipts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with hotel procedures, policies, and service standards.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of supervisory or departmental management experience in a hotel front office.
• Ability to lead and manage all front‑office disciplines independently.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

Required skills

• Cash handling experience.
• Proficiency with computer systems and front‑office software.
