Join the vibrant team at Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort in St. Thomas, where Caribbean charm meets modern luxury. As a Front Desk Manager you will lead the front desk team, creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional guest experiences in an exclusive beachfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check‑in/check‑out and reservation processes.
• Train, mentor and motivate front desk staff to provide outstanding service.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Manage room inventory and maximize revenue through effective room management strategies.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of departmental management experience in a front office or related area.
• Strong time‑management, negotiation and cash‑handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and comply with local employment and innkeeper laws.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS.
• Experience using Micros.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and Excel.
