Dialysis Clinical Coordinator (RN)

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator leads the dialysis unit, supervising nursing staff and ensuring safe, high‑quality dialysis treatments for patients. This full‑time position reports to the Clinic Administrator and works closely with the Medical Director.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor patient care delivered by PCTs, LPNs, and RNs, including initiating, monitoring and terminating dialysis treatments.
• Audit patient flow sheets, verify documentation accuracy, and ensure physician orders are correctly transcribed.
• Collaborate with the Clinic Administrator on staffing, patient scheduling and resource allocation.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and develop action plans to improve clinical outcomes.
• Assist in training new staff and serve as subject‑matter expert for clinical systems.

Required profile

• Current USVI RN license and graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated clinical excellence.
• Two years of dialysis experience preferred; critical care or supervisory experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in dialysis treatment protocols and vascular access management.
• Ability to audit clinical documentation and ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS and state regulations.
