Passenger Assist / Wheelchair Agent

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Passenger Assist / Wheelchair Agent to support travelers through arrival, check‑in and boarding at our Charlotte Amalie airport hub. You will ensure passengers with special mobility needs receive seamless assistance while upholding our high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet passengers with a smile and guide them through arrival, check‑in, customs, immigration and quarantine.
• Provide wheelchair and stroller assistance, operating the computerized reservation system to record and track support requests.
• Coordinate with Ramp Service Agents to load and unload wheelchairs, strollers and gate‑checked bags.
• Operate airport equipment such as the jetway and carrier‑specific ticketing software.
• Handle baggage service, resolve complaints, and oversee all customer service issues for wheelchair‑bound travelers.
• Perform additional duties related to passenger assistance as required.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural airport environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Physical capability to handle wheelchair equipment and assist with baggage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computerized reservation and ticketing systems.
• Experience operating jetway and other airport ground equipment.
