Executive Sous Chef

About the role

We are seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences at Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of all menu items.
• Collaborate with culinary professionals to develop innovative dishes using fresh, high‑quality ingredients.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet financial targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of cooking experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality fields preferred.
• Proven experience in menu planning and development.
• Strong leadership, team‑building, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and achieve financial goals.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable.
