Marketing Manager – Vacation Ownership

About the role

The Marketing Manager for Vacation Ownership will lead the marketing team in St. John, overseeing daily operations, strategy development, and performance management. This position focuses on driving tour generation, collaborating with sales, and ensuring marketing initiatives align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, including budgeting, site goals, and forecasts.
• Coordinate traffic‑generation programs and incentive initiatives to exceed production targets.
• Analyze performance reports (e.g., confirmations, volume‑per‑guest, close rate) and communicate insights to the team.
• Build and maintain relationships with sales management, resort operations, and external vendors.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate marketing executives, providing feedback, rewards, and development plans.
• Manage conflict, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with state and federal marketing regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English; additional language may be required.
• Willingness to travel 20‑50 % of the time and work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for public‑facing situations.
